The Bionutrition Core Laboratory develops and utilizes LC-MS/HPLC, spectrophotometric, and biomolecular techniques to quantify biomarkers of chronic disease and the metabolism and efficacy of nutrients and phytochemicals.  With 20+ years of bioanalytical experience, staff of the Bionutrition Core Laboratory can perform fee-for-service analyses of biological specimens to achieve your project objectives in a professional, cost-effective, and high-throughput manner.

SERVICES

LC/MS + (U)HPLC

LC-MS and (U)HPLC-UV/Vis, -FL, and -ECD detection is available to quantify analytes of biological interest.  The analysis of many phytochemicals, antioxidants, biomarkers of oxidative stress and gastrointestinal permeability are well-established. Custom analyses also can be developed.

Spectrophotometry

Spectrophotometric techniques using UV, Vis, or FL-based detection are available to assess biomarkers of metabolic health, enzyme activities, nitric oxide metabolism, and biomarkers of inflammation.
